JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is looking for a potential Onshore Drilling Materials Controller who will be responsible for the timely and accurate coordination of materials and support services for the Project Crystal exploration wells and the Alba C Infill well. This position will interface with Drilling Supervisors, Global Procurement, Supply Chain and suppliers/contractors for effective performance against the plan.

The role is currently an expression of interest and if active would be based in Equatorial Guinea on a 10x3 rotational basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishes appropriate processes and procedures with the suppliers/contractors and in coordination with SC to meet operational requirements and in compliance with policies.
• Operates in compliance with HES standards and insures supplier compliance against contracted requirements.
• Effectively collaborates and works within the existing SC infrastructure and adheres to Logistics and Supply Chain policies and procedures.
• Maintains an accurate account of materials and equipment moving to and from manufacturers, vendors, third party facilities and drilling locations.
• Coordinates materials shipments from the shore base to drilling locations, as well as returns from the rig.
• Proactively forecasts and communicates material requirements, logistics, support services and coordinates with the necessary parties.
• Effectively manages the casing consignment program against the contractual responsibilities. Validates accuracy and documents material shipments to the rig, well returns, movements to inspection and threading facilities and verifies supplier accuracy of these movements.
• Utilizes SAP as prescribed and operates in accordance with F&A requirements. Handles all system transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
• Is responsible for client-owned materials security at supplier facilities inclusive of proper storage, segregation, maintenance, release authorization and security.
• Prepares the final well reconciliation reports.
• Primary liaison with the supply vessel company and is responsible for coordinating vessel schedules in support of drilling activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Similar experience within materials controller environment and liaising with vessels
• Some experience in drilling preferred
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
