JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Graduate Civil and Structural Design Engineer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. This is an opportunity for you to become a valuable, well-rounded of an experienced team.

This job offers an exciting and technically advanced approach to value added quality control on a wide range of EPC projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing civil / structural engineering design calculations and documents
  • Ensure that the quality of design calculations and drawings produced are to a good and as specified standard
  • Preparing technical specifications for review and approval
  • Preparing Material take off for cost estimate
  • Visiting job - sites to evaluate site, project requirements and conditions
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledgeable in various international design codes will be advantageous, i.e., ACI, AISC, British Standards, JIS, DIN, Euro Code, UBC, etc.
  • Experience in structure & foundation design will be advantageous
  • Experience in the use of recognize structural/civil engineering analysis/design software will be advantageous i.e. STAADPro , Tekla Structural Designer , SAP2000 etc.,
  • Very good in using MS Office
  • Keen to learn and take responsibility
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skill
  • Able to work under reasonable pressure
  • Flexible, diligent & productive
