Subsea7 has an opportunity for a Data Processing Project Coordinator to join our UK & Global IRM team based in our Aberdeen, Westhill office. Successful candidates may also work from home remotely within the specified hub locations utilising cutting edge cloud technologies.

This role has been created as a result of a transition from an offshore support role to an onshore support role and will further complement our global remote processing and reporting service.

Reporting to the Data Delivery Manager, the successful applicant will coordinate and schedule the allocation of Data Processing and Reporting resources to support Subsea7 & Seaway7 remote activities. This requirement will include maintenance and updates of documentation and associated performance metrics. Data Processing and quality control activities will also be required. This is an onshore role to further complement our global remote processing and reporting service.

What will you be doing?
  • Coordinate and support ongoing reporting activities
  • Resource scheduling to ensure appropriate staff are allocation to project
  • Monitor project progress and create status reports
  • Prepare manage and update KPI documentation
  • Scheduling of meetings and facilitate communication between stakeholders and staff
  • Undertake a variety of project management tasks
  • Processing of hydrographic survey and inspection data
  • Video review and eventing
  • Review, quantify and report on suitability of acquired data
  • Oversee and execute Managed File Transfer systems to maintain delivery of raw data
  • Preparation of documentation such as procedures, guidelines, and manuals
What experience would we like you to have?
  • Qualification in earth science, geography, mathematics (desirable)
  • Project management qualification (desirable)
  • Excellent computing skills in standard office applications and software packages
  • Knowledge of survey sensor calibrations
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of specialised survey software products
  • Good knowledge of survey data processing philosophies and methodologies
  • Technical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer skills and understanding of data formats
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of principle discipline and peripheral subjects
  • Co-ordination, organisation and liaison skills
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Proactive communication to team and management
  • Creative thinking - recognising, exploring, and using a broad range of ideas and practices
  • Organised and professional approach to work
  • Experience in a similar Senior role - Geophysical or Construction Data Processing
  • Exposure to a variety of data processing applications
