We are currently seeking a Lead Field Commissioning Technician to join our Building Automation team in our Perth, WA office.

Reporting to the District Project Leader you will be the lead on-site for Engineering and Commissioning of Complex Electronic Security Equipment and Systems without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Competent execution of the systems design, engineering, implementation, commissioning and documentation of a project
  • Review incoming project documentation for impact to the Project Scope and Works Schedule and respond to these in coordination with the Project Manager
  • Prepare design submittals and documentation as per stakeholder requirements, ensuring commitment dates are met. Work with the project stakeholders to ensure timely submittal approvals are received.
  • Prepare work packages for team members (local and remote), coordinate engagement of resources, direct and monitor progress of completion of work packages, manage quality of deliverables so that the outputs meet the project requirements.
  • Effectively utilize offshore and remote engineering resources to reduce the local reliance on performing repetitive and non-value adding tasks.
  • Coordination with the installation subcontractor
  • Communication and Coordination with Sub-Contractors and Project Stakeholders.
  • Create operational and maintenance documentation in line with scope of works.
  • Lead continuous improvement Initiatives in the field to quickly identify and rectify challenges relating to delivery and installation of equipment.
  • Work Closely with the Project manager to achieve projects delivery and financial results.

Key Experience & Capabilities:
  • You must hold a valid driver's license authorizing you to drive the Honeywell Tool of Trade vehicle.
  • NV level 1 clearance is advantageous.
  • Australian Citizenship is essential.
  • Electrical, Electronic or Instrumentation Trade Certificate is essential.
  • ICT qualifications are preferred.
  • Extensive experience in security technical services is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years in either Electrical, Security, Controls / Instrumentation or Fire Systems.
