Job SummaryAlaska Overview
ConocoPhillips is Alaska's largest crude oil producer and largest owner of exploration leases, with approximately 1.2 million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2022. The company produced an average of 200 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2022. ConocoPhillips has major ownership interests in two of North America's largest legacy conventional oil fields, both located on Alaska's North Slope: Kuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay. Additionally, ConocoPhillips operates several fields on the Western North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.

Description
The Integrated Planning Lead is the single point of contact for planning & execution readiness across Operations, Maintenance, Wells, Capital Projects, HSE, Willow and 3rd parties to ensure successful alignment and execution within the two-year time horizon. The integrated planning lead is responsible for building and communicating the integrated plan, analyzing the plan for conflicts or opportunities, integrating stakeholders for making decisions and influencing change, managing efficient utilization of critical shared resources, and driving ongoing process, tools and data improvements. Beyond managing the plan, the integrated planning lead may periodically lead ad-hoc strategic objectives in support of broader Alaska Business Unit objectives. It is critical for this role to maintain positive working relationships with many cross functional stakeholders, and period trips to the North Slope are encouraged to ensure active interface.

The role is open to cross functional applicants and is uniquely placed for the successful candidate to interact and grow relationships with multiple functions while being at the center of influencing multiple major asset decisions, execution milestones, and performance improvement. The position sits within the Integrated Execution Support team and is based in Anchorage.
Job Description
Your responsibilities may include:
  • Develop 120-day resource loaded plan (P6) for all asset execution activities; leveraging Anaplan to integrate multiple tools and functions to demonstrate and manage single instance of the plan
  • Hosting and facilitating recurring planning meetings to communicate the plan, ensure activity execution readiness, and engage with various levels of management to resolve issues and manage change
  • Engaging across the base assets, Willow, and 3rd parties to identify and resolve SIMOPs conflicts and opportunities
  • Driving base capital activity management to ensure projects are appropriately prioritized and sequenced for long range and budget planning purposes
  • Compiling the 2 year plan across multiple assets and driving the lookback process to improve performance improvement across all key execution functions
  • Supporting forecasting of critical resources (ex: camps, pad space, aviation, fuel) and engaging with stakeholders to identify and implement mitigation strategies
  • Be an integral member of the Integrated Execution Support team, and identify new tools or processes to aid in plan development, supporting change efforts within the existing planning processes
  • Travel to North Slope operated fields to define work processes, gain alignment, and implement changes
  • Participate on the Incident Management Team as required and attend IMT Trainings and annual exercises

Basic/Required:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Business or Engineering related field, or foreign equivalent
  • 5+ years of oil and gas industry experience
  • 1+ years project planning, outlooks planning, or functional work planning experience
  • Willing and able to travel (with or without reasonable accommodation) 10% of the time annually
Preferred:
  • 1+ years experience working across functions - Wells, Operations and Maintenance, Capital Projects
  • Advanced financial acumen with understanding of economic criteria to justify investments
  • Advanced level digital, written, and verbal communication / public speaking skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of nuances and complexities of North Slope Alaska execution
  • Intermediate knowledge of business planning processes - Long Range Plan and ongoing budget Outlooks
  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, and Outlook
  • Basic level proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in planning tools such as Primavera P6 (and/or Maxavera), SAP and Prometheus
  • Proven ability to facilitate or coordinate meetings with a wide range of cross functional attendees; taking time to build & maintain positive stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization and work locations
  • Ability to keep up with multiple work streams and prioritize activities into most value adding areas; innovative thinking to challenge the status quo and find improvements in tools, systems, and workflow
