RESPONSIBILITIES

Wood is currently looking for Public Relationship Manger to support our team in Iraq/Basra rotational 4x4

• Manage all communications channels including portal and website
• Assists in the development and management of a comprehensive WQ1 social media strategy
• Conceptualizes and creates designs, concepts and layouts using design programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Media Engagement: Handle requests for information from the media and monitor media coverage on topics relevant to WQ1 project
• Preparation of Press Releases and distribution to the targeted audience and monitoring of its publication
• Interact with media, always ensuring a positive portrayal of the business
• Monitor news and information sources to identify emerging issues that involve or impact WQ1 to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks.
• Provide a daily clipping about the industry and the country
• Coordinates the organization of all corporate events
• Coordinates the company participation in external events such as Conferences, exhibitions, etc.
• Preparation of Talking Points for the management during their participation in public events, in order to guide them on the topics that can be discussed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master Degree diploma
• Minimum 5-7 years' experience in 3C(Credibility/Communication/Consistency)
• Strong knowledge of cross-cultural management
• Strong English skills
• Arabic language skills preferred
• Good knowledge of social media
