JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- SEA Inspection, drifting using a micrometer and depth measurement of imperfections using a depth gauge or wall thickness gauge, thread gauging, penetrant testing and hardness testing.
- Under direct supervision operate applicable inspection equipment of assigned unit.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and surrounding areas.
- Any and all other duties as directed by Supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of drill pipe inspection and pipe handling is required.
- Prior inspection experience is required.
- BIT and MAG II Certification is required.
- Successful completion of Level II PT and/or UT Certification and/or EMI Certification classes, required.
- Ability to work with others on an inspection line.
- Must possess self-initiative and have proven strong leadership skills.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Basic Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division) is required.
- Ability to work Monday-Sunday is required
- Inspector with Level 2 certifications in MFLT, MT, PT, EMI, UT Thickness, BHA, and Drill Pipe. UT Shear Wave certification a plus.
