Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Europe Lubricants Direct and OEM Channel Manager through May 31st at 11:59 p.m.
This position manages all aspects of lubricant, coolant, and specialty oil sales within the Direct & OEM team for Europe Finished Lubricants.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- The execution of short- and long-term strategies to win in the Direct (B2B) and OEM segments in Europe.
- Lead the development and communication of strategies and plans that drive channel performance.
- Delivering sustainable results consistent with strategic objectives for volume, margin, net operating income, customer profitability, selling prices and operating expenses.
- Coach and mentor a team of remote account managers in the effective execution of the sales process leveraging sales automation technologies.
- Utilizes performance management process to effectively to build alignment and accountability.
- Works closely with the Europe Leadership Team, International Products teams, and product development improve competitive performance.
- Responsible and accountable for the management of a strategic global account for business in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America, Latin America, and India.
- Represents International Products commercially on the development and execution of OEM strategies for the lubricants business globally.
- Collaborates with Chevron's Products & Technology organization for the development of OEM products using proprietary technology. Executes short- and long-term strategies with OEM customers in alignment with Enterprise strategies. Fosters and maintains long-term relationships between Chevron and key OEM accounts.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or higher.
- Candidates should have 10-14 years of experience in the field, with a focus on sales within the lubricants sector, automotive industry, manufacturing, or related fields.
- A strong understanding of the lubricants market, competitive environment, and relevant regulations, such as ACEA and API standards.
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies, lead a sales team, and achieve sales targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for managing relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Established competence in conducting market analysis, performance tracking, product pricing, and strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively across geographic and organizational boundaries, effectively influencing decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or automotive engineering, or master's in business administration.
- Experience with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in the automotive, marine, or industrial sectors.
- Experience with strategic customer account management and business development.
- Experience in leading management, account management, business analytics, and channel development.
- Understanding of global dynamics that shape the lubricants industry. Experience with base oil and/or additive companies.
