Field Service Engineer - Industrial Automation

For our Honeywell Process Solution (HPS) organization in Asker we are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for installing, maintaining and configuring Honeywell Industrial Control & Safety (SAS) systems and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition Systems in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing markets.

Key requirements

• Actively participate in installation / configuration / implementation & commissioning of Honeywell's product range including Industrial Safety & Automation System (SAS), HMI and SCADA
• Follow and observe all Honeywell and customer safety regulations and requirements
• Implement system upgrades or modifications, on process/off process. Implement online system changes to live plant without compromising process safety and operation.
• Diagnose, rectify and manage issues in complex application software
• Be a part of the team that helps customers with the digitalization of their facilities

Key skills and qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in electronics, automation, cybernetics, applicants with certification from Automation Collage will be considered dependent on their experience.
• Experience in a similar role working with Control & Safety systems and SCADA within different process industries (Oil & Gas / chemicals / Pulp & Paper / etc.)
• Fluent in Norwegian and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer handling skills
