Job Expectations:

• Work experience in Aerospace industry.

• Interact with Software lead and Systems Engineers to clarify requirements and work the high-level software design.

• 6+ years of experience in software development, Application/Tool development

• Effectively provide technical solutions and directions to a team of developers.

• Work on competency development strategy to strengthen VAFD architecture.

• Mentor and inspire engineers to develop innovative products and technologies.

• Effectively solve complex engineering problems and work with highly talented engineers to deliver exceptional solutions.

• Responsible to ensure the following - Optimization, Reduce Product Insertion cost, Rework cost, Reuse.

• Ensures design adheres to architecture, works with first-time right mindset to meet customer and human factors requirements.

• Identify technical design risks early-on and provide mitigation actions.

• Communicate effectively with functional leads/team members and other stakeholders to arrive a common architecture goal.

• Able to take decisions on design level changes independently and translate them to detailed design documents.

• Be the high-availability resource for answering questions posed by engineers and designers on a day-to-day basis

• Actively participate in estimation meetings, manage scope and drive trade-off decisions in conjunction with all key stakeholders

• Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost or other project variables and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders

• Experience in coordinating technical team of 5-6 people.

• Should strive to excel in delivering commitments

• Eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment and explore new technology introduction.

• Working on change management systems. PVCS/Dimensions, ClearCase, ClearQuest.

Skills Requirement:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering

• Work experience in Embedded C, C++ software development, RTOS,design & architect.

• Proficient in software integration activities.

• Experience in software component, module, and system integration.

• Knowledge on IoT, AI/ML and Data analytics is desirable.

• Should possess strong debugging skills.

• Experience working with Aerospace standards, Architecture principles, Coding standards and familiarity with DO178B/C is an added advantage.

• Drive team and self towards Innovation, patents, white papers, proposals etc.

• Strong co-ordination and communication skill to work with multiple stakeholders and functional groups to resolve complex technical issues in collaborated way.

• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Ability to multitask consistently in interaction with multiple teams.

• Good oral, written communication and presentation skills required.

• Good people skills and the ability to work effectively with other Stakeholders.
