We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to work on a major development, a giga project located in the northeastern part of the Red Sea. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering and design management scopes of integrated projects for our esteemed clients and will lead a team of talented engineers and designers, ensuring the successful execution of projects from conception to completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key components of the project scope include the development of luxury hospitality & high-end residential assets, infrastructure, commercial spaces, and recreational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Excellence:
  • Oversee the engineering and design processes, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Drive innovation and optimization initiatives, leveraging advanced technologies and methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to coordinate project activities and resolve inter-disciplinary conflicts.


Project Leadership:
  • Lead the engineering and design management aspects of integrated projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and industry standards.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical expertise to project teams, guiding them through all phases of project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.


Team Management:
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Delegate responsibilities, assign tasks, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and career development.


Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing strong relationships based on trust, communication, and collaboration.
  • Understand client needs, expectations, and project requirements, and proactively address any concerns or challenges to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives and expectations


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional engineering licensure or certification (PE, PEng, etc.) preferred.
  • 20+ years of experience in engineering management roles within the consulting engineering industry.
  • Must have design/construction experience in the organization and control of buildings and civil engineering for major land development projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects, preferably in multiple sectors.
  • Strong technical expertise in engineering disciplines and experience across art/culture; high end residentials & mansions, entertainment & leisure, healthclub and hotels, F&B and retail, recreational.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as relevant engineering design software.
