We are currently seeking a Transport and Logistics Manager to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the mission we offer you:

• 'Manages traffic/shipping activities in one Operating Center.
• Guarantees support to large and complex projects, assigning the necessary resources and monitoring of shipping service quality and costs
• Challenges, creates and implements organizational/ operational procedures and standard technical documents
• Provides expertise and improves current IT Tools, aiming at a high grade automation (of certified data processing when applicable) and exhaustive reporting
• Ensures the application of correct operational methodology according to procedures and to the Company quality system
• Identifies and performs the needs for shipping survey
• Identifies and qualifies Forwarding Agents
• Investigates shipping market by promoting regular meetings with Forwarding Agents and shipping owners
• Verifies and authorizes shipping documents according to the applicable procedures
• Manage transport and logistics team, team training, planning and evaluating team activities, team appraisal, team succession plan, team manhour planning and talent retention.
• Guide and develop direct reports to constantly improve their performance.
• Manage reporting for projects on deliverables.

About you:

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or Business & Administration or relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in project, operations and/or supply chain/logistics/transport
• Knowledge or degree of the specific market
• Experience from the energy industry, preferable oil & gas, is preferred
