This position reports to
Procurement Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval. 1.For global category sourcing parts, can provide professional advice to global category manager for strategy making/optimizing, implements effective sourcing strategies in line with global sourcing strategy ensuring that the supply base/suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. Ensures all relevant parties understand strategies and execute processes accordingly. 2.For local casting sourcing parts, make sourcing strategy independently, evaluate and develop the supply base. Introduce new suppliers as appropriate to meet the current and future needs of the business 3.Manages planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Company guidelines. 4.Participating in the contract negotiation of the global suppliers together with the GCM, and leading the contract negotiations of the local suppliers 5.Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Provides ongoing oversight and contract management with suppliers. 6.Ensures identification, investigation, and selection of appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) in accordance with Company policies. Provides and maintains standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines. 7.Contributes to, and participates in setting and implementing budget and targets within the framework. Ensures the responsible category sourcing performance targets are achieved. 8.Define & constant improvement of value chain with focus to shorten lead time and optimize logistic processes, considering total cost. 9.Close cooperation with purchasing team to support capacity planning and scalability / flexibility planning 10.Define and reach targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation in the responsible category 11.Work with Quality and SQE to improve supplier performance (OTD, DPPM, lead time etc.) and Manage and monitor the supplier portfolio and develop supplier to build right supply base; 12.Identifying, tracking and implementing cost saving actions to meet the productivity targets for the category.

Qualifications for the role
- 1.Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or Commercial or similar degree
- 2.Minimum 8 years sourcing related working experience
- 3.Team management experience is required
- 4.Good knowledge in the machining/mechanical category & industry would be preferred
- 5.Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management, contract negotiation legal/contractual knowledge
- 6.Analytical skills is must, Power BI and Python skill will be plus.
- 7.Excellent communication, cooperation and influencing skills when working with different senior level roles internally and externally with different suppliers
- 8.Continuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact base on approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationship
- 9.Fluent English in both speaking and writing
- 10.Ability to handle complexity and work under pressure, travel sometimes at short notice
- 11.Microsoft office/SAP experience will be plus
- 12.Total cost concept(COST,OTD,PPM)
- 13.Structured thinking, result oriented.
