Short description

Are you ready to take charge of a scope of floating auxiliary equipment on dredging projects? We're looking for a Waterboss/Marine Superintendent who can manage multicats, pontoons, anchors, sinkers, and floating line movements while keeping a close eye on all activities on the water.

Function description

In this role, you'll be responsible for planning and preparing pipeline operations. You'll work closely with the Works Manager to organize sinker and floating line movements. During the positioning of sinker and floating lines for vessels or barges, you'll be the one supervising the process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Keeping an eye on the floating pipelines will be part of your daily routine, and you'll report any necessary adjustments. Regular offshore pipe measurements will also be your responsibility, ensuring you know when pipes need to be turned. You'll maintain a logbook on anchor positions and oversee winch pontoon operations.

Inventory management is another key aspect of this role. You'll manage spare parts and ensure the crew has all the necessary tools, equipment, and materials to do their jobs efficiently. You'll also be responsible for introducing and applying procedures to maintain a precise working environment, preventing misuse of equipment and materials. Safety, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness are your top priorities in all tasks.

Requirements

Your Profile:
  • Experience with water works, multicats, anchor operations, pipelines, port traffic regulations, tugboats, and pontoons
  • Multicat skipper experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Computer literate
  • Communicative with good organizational skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need experience with water works, multicats, anchor operations, pipelines, port traffic regulations, tugboats, and pontoons. If you're a Multicat skipper, that's a big plus. Fluent English, both spoken and written, is essential, and you should be comfortable working with a computer. Good communication and organizational skills will help you excel in this position.

What We Offer:
  • An exciting job in an international work environment
  • A 6/6 rotation schedule: 6 weeks of work followed by 6 weeks at home
  • Permanent training track supporting personal and professional development
  • Stimulating, innovative workplace with growth opportunities
  • People-oriented environment with an interactive health program focused on employee wellbeing

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!
