Salary - £41,917.83 plus London allowance of £3,202.24 per annum and standby allowance c£290 per week, when on rota, and appropriate overtime rate when attending the call, 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service plus bank holidays.

Contract Type: Permanent

Full time 37.5 hours per week (excluding meal breaks). Typical attendance will be 07:00 until 15:00 Monday to Friday. You will be required to join the area stand-by / call out rota to cover out of hours calls on a 1 in 4 week rotational basis.

The Role

As a Mobile Gas Engineer you'll provide technical diagnosis and solutions, performing routine maintenance checks in relation to Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems with some electrical maintenance. You'll perform fault finding, maintenance, repair and installation of these systems and will regularly liaise with customers.

Working across a specified region you'll be required travel. You'll report directly into the Technical Service Manager, working with customers, other engineers and sub-contractors on a daily basis.

About You

• Must hold a Commercial gas qualification/certification either COCN1 or CODNCO1 and must be a Gas Safe registered Gas engineer
• Ideally be qualified and accredited by Gas Safe in commercial gas modules to include CIGA1, CORT1, CENWAT and TPCP1A
• Experience maintaining Gas equipment / pipe work and hot and cold water systems
• 18th edition or supplementary electrical skills will be highly desirable
• Experience of completing job certificates in an electronic format
• Full UK Driving Licence is required, as this vacancy will involve travel within a specified area for which a van or car will be provided.
• Demonstrable experience of liaising with customers
• Experience of working alone or as part of a team
• A good level of PC literacy
• As a Senior Technician you will be required to take charge ship of the other Engineers in the Southeast region to ensure SLA's and KPI's are met.
