The role?
EnerMech are looking for Crane Operators to join our flying squad in early 2025 on a permanent basis. This is an ad hoc role on a staff/employed basis. You will be supporting projects offshore mainly in the North Sea. Responsibilities include operating crane for installation and vessel lifts within the crane design envelope, taking into consideration weather, sea states and current load. You will carry out and assist with first line maintenance and ensure clear communication with deck crew and vessel crew. Other main responsibilities include:
You are?
It is essential that you hold a stage 3 Crane Operator certificate. You will be time served and hold a relevant professional qualification. You must also have offshore experience and hold the relevant offshore certifications. You will be someone who can work on their own initiative and a clear and effective communicator.

- Complete pre-use checklists before commencing each shift
- Compliance with clients safe systems of work
- Ensure good housekeeping within Crane Cabin and machinery
- Undertake Emergency Response Activities as required
- Ensure all incidents and near misses are reported to EnerMech and the Installation Management immediately
- Ensure a safe and comprehensive shift handover is conducted and recorded
