Senior Energy and Sustainability Analyst

Longevity Partners is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Junior Consultant / Senior Analyst to join our Sustainable Design team in the Amsterdam office. Are you passionate about sustainable building design and eager to work with a leading independent sustainability consultancy?

In this role, you will focus primarily on BREEAM-NL New Construction, Circular Design, LCA analysis, and Nature-Based Solutions.

You will create and implement a wide range of ESG services for our clients, working in a dynamic team environment. This role allows you to work on a number of exciting projects at any one time whilst interacting directly with clients and ensuring their sustainability goals are met. The successful candidate will implement a wide range of sustainability principles for our clients, working in a team environment.

Experience with BREEAM-NL New Construction and Dutch Language fluency are non-negotiable's to be considered for this role.

The Senior Analyst is responsible for:
  • Undertaking a range of environmental assessments using third-party assessment methodologies such as BREEAM (DGBC), WELL and GPR;
  • Liaising with client stakeholders to develop the criteria for the delivery of the desired environmental assessment rating;
  • Attending site visits to review progress against sustainability targets;
  • Collecting, verifying, and managing granular building utility consumption data to help clients meet reporting requirements and drive improvements in ESG performance.
  • Supporting the development of ESG strategy services to clients using our internal methodology to create bespoke programs.
  • Producing reports and providing Sustainable Design advice and guidance to clients and project teams;
  • Undertake Sustainability due diligence reports.
  • Undertake Net Zero Carbon energy audits that provide asset-level evaluations and advice on building optimization.
  • Completing relevant training to become certified as an assessor against one (or more) of the core assessment methodologies we offer at Longevity Partners;
  • Assisting with ESG policy and strategy assignments for our clients;
  • Assisting the Business Development team with winning pitches and tenders.

The Successful Individual will have:

Mandatory Requirements
  • Qualified as BREEAM-NL Nieuwbouw & Renovatie Expert OR Assessor
  • Fluency in Dutch is Essential

Desirable Requirements
  • The ability to manage multiple on-going assignments simultaneously;
  • Knowledge of various ESG topics relevant to the real estate investment sector at the European level;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to produce structured, concise, and meaningful reports, summarising results and justifying conclusions, containing very technical information
  • Excellent numerical ability, and thorough experience of data analysis;
  • At minimum a bachelor's degree in relevant subject;
  • Software Skills: MS Office, OneClick LCA, Dynamic Thermal Modelling
  • Nice to have software skills (not mandatory) Grasshopper Rhino, REVIT
