Second Officer

We are looking for motivated and eager second and third officers who want to elevate their career and continue working in dredging sector and j oin our worldwide working client's expanding TSHD crew
Function description
The 2nd Officer supports the Chief Officer with all navigational duties and takes on the role of Safety Officer. In this team, sailing in a safe, maritime, correct/responsible and environmental friendly way is ensured. The focus lies on optimizing the production and continuity of the vessel. Together with the Chief Officer you are in charge of all operations on board.
3rd Officer on a trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Assists in navigation and takes watchkeeping duties, ensuring the vessel follows the planned route safely. Monitors the radar, AIS, ECDIS, and other navigational equipment.

Function description

Requirements
- Certificate of Competency of Second Officer and Third Officer
- Seaman's book
- Valid STCW trainings
- Fluent in verbal and written English language
- Motivation and eagerness to start working on TSHD vessels
