What are you going to do

Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:

• Responsible for subsea system engineering activities and technical matters related to the Venus project, as part of the GPI (''Groupe Projet Interne'') Venus team.
• This will include but not be limited to reviewing, approving, preparing and managing all studies during Pre-project and FEED, Call For Tender and EPCI phases for the SPS system for a very deep water oil greenfield project. The Service Provider will be leading the system engineering activities, and be supporting the procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning activities for SPS equipment.
• The Service Provider will provide support to the SPS Technical Manager and the SPS team and liaise with other project teams (SURF)

Essential skills and knowledge

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• Recent and relevant experience with major SPS Contractor in delivering a deep-water subsea system - including design, procurement, construction, installation and offshore hookup and commissioning of the subsea components.
• Strong experience in detailed engineering and execution phases (procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, pre-commissioning) related to SPS systems.
• Experience within project: at least 15 years in large offshore oil & gas subsea environment / projects.
• High awareness of safe working practices on subsea system construction. Excellent communication skills. Excellent written skills.
• Willing to travel as required for business both internal and overseas.
• Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures in a complex and multicultural working environment.
• Fluent English
