Your role and responsibilities
The Business Development and Sales professional will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in Azerbaijan. This role involves developing and implementing business development plans for the short term (1 year), mid term (2 years), and long term (5 years). The individual will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve business growth, provide technical advisory to clients, and support the front-end sales process. Your responsibilities : • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in Azerbaijan. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government entities. • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. • Develop and implement business development strategies for short term (1 year), mid term (2 years), and long term (5 years). • Create and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities. • Work with PAEN UK Sales team to prepare business proposals, presentations, and bids to potential clients. • Keep DEMO room up to date with new technologies and arrange workshops with potential clients • Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients in relation to products and services. • Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements. • Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations to showcase product capabilities. • Address technical inquiries and provide support during the sales process.

Qualifications for the role
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, technical advisory, or sales, preferably in a relevant industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business opportunities.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
- Knowledge of the local market in Azerbaijan.
- Experience working in an international business environment.
- Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and trends.
