- To ensure the overall quality compliance and control of Project Department and Contractors on the fabrication, installation and testing works.
- To manage, develop, supervise & maintain quality management policies, guidelines and procedures in compliance to DOTL QA/QC & Integrity requirements,
- To provide different types of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities and services including but not limited to documentations, facilitation & coordination with contractors, DOTL Integrity Dept & various stake holders.
- To maintain QA / QC documentation in compliance to Quality Management System (IMS) to ISO 9001
Job Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, supervise & maintain quality management policies, guidelines and procedures in compliance to project requirements, international & local specifications & standards
- Develop & maintain a QA/QC Documentation register of all projects including but not limited to inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Punchlist, Handover Certificates, Equipment passports, TDS & others.
- Performing incoming material control, inspection & documentation in coordination with DOTL Integrity Dept.
- Coordinate & conduct site surveillance & inspections with DOTL Integrity Dept. to monitor the quality compliance of works & provide reports. Highlights & categorize all observed deviations from project requirements, international & local specifications & standards.
- Issue a Request for Inspection (RFI) to DOTL Integrity Dept & other stake holders to witness and/or conduct inspections of completed works & testing activities. Including but not limited to Mechanical Completion, Pre-com & Commissioning activities.
- Act as ISO 9001 QMS focal point on the field
- Collate & prepare a consolidated punch list, register for each project and follow up on the implementation of the corrective actions.
- Review & qualify the contractor's QA/QC programs & documentations in concurrence with DOTL Integrity Dept.
- Coordinate & monitor the activities of the Projects Third Party Authorities (TPA).
- Prepare all necessary QA/QC Documents on behalf of Project Department (In-house Construction).
Education
Qualification Requirements:
- Higher Professional Education (Degree in Engineering)
- International certificate in Welding Inspection and NDT methods;
- Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC the field of Offshore and Onshore construction, with a detailed knowledge of surface and subsurface equipment and material specifications and requirements.
