Mission:
- Develop with the Naval Architect lead the specialistic knowledge of main Naval Engineer competences such as vessel Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Dynamic Positioning System, Mooring, Engineering analysis for Offshore installation
- Apply and improve technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures and tools as required for proposals and project execution
- Support naval engineering activities
- Improve quality and efficiency in the naval engineering activities
Job Tasks:
The Naval Architect executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements His tasks include:
- Apply the Naval Engineering acquired competence for the Naval Architec t technical activities
- Prepare naval deliverables (procedures, notes, technical reports)
- Develop design capability (stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installation engineering, DP) • Prepare technical documen ts relevant for requisitions, bid analysis and PO
- Prepare feedback dossiers from projects
- Support the Naval Architect Lead to develop the excellence in naval engineering
- Acquire the capability and the skill requested to successfully apply the state of art of numerical tool requested for the naval department engineering activities
- Assist the Naval Architect Lead to implement the process of Lesson Learning
- Improve technical competence growth of department resources regarding Hydrostatic, Stability, Hydrodynamic, Mooring analysis, Dynamic Positioning System
