Due to growth we are looking to expand within our team and are immediately looking for an additional Project Manager to join our team. As Project Manager you are the first point of contact for the customer for (multi)annual inspection programs and challenging repair projects. As Project Manager, you will provide clients with the quality, schedule and high level of safety they count on with Deutsche Windtechnik.

In this role you will be responsible for, among other things, preparing schedules, working out project details, ensuring timely client reports and monitoring the progress, quality and timely execution of projects. You will work closely with project engineers, site supervisors and external partners to ensure the success of the projects.

Your profile

As a project manager at Deutsche Windtechnik in Utrecht, you will actively contribute to a sustainable society and a stable energy supply for everyone. You have an eye for detail but do not lose the overview. Safety, health and environment are key in your work. You preferably have experience in or affinity with the offshore wind industry.

• Bachelor's working and thinking level with relevant education (e.g. civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the offshore sector
• Preferably knowledge of inspection techniques, civil constructions and electrical installations, preferably in the offshore sector
• You are aware of the importance of safety, health and environment in all your work and actively promote it.
• You have mastered competences in technical project management
• You have strong communication skills and a structured working style
• You have an excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbally and in writing

Your tasks

As a project manager at Deutsche Windtechnik in Utrecht, you are the link between technical execution and the clients. You will use your technical knowledge to steer challenging projects in the right direction. In this role, you are not only involved in planning and reporting, but also work closely with various internal and external partners.

• You will draw up project plans and coordinate them with all stakeholders
• You work out project details and develop technical solutions
• You prepare project activities, including contractor selection and applying for work permits
• You monitor and assure the (financial) progress and quality of projects
• You prepare reports for the clients and maintain contact through progress and evaluation meetings
• You coordinate any actions in the event of calamities and disruptions and ensure a safe working environment for those carrying out the work.
• You organise kick-off meetings
