Key Role:
Apply expertise in Joint contingency planning and the Joint Planning Process to support the development of contingency plans, concepts, and staff estimates. Conduct contingency planning as outlined and directed by the Joint Staff. Provide subject matter expertise and support to conferences, workshops, exercises, and special events to support contingency planning. Participate in Joint Planning Groups and prepare briefings, whitepapers, and other deliverables to senior decision makers. This position will require international and CONUS travel for up to 25% of the time.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Key Role:

Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience with the military or DoD at a Service Headquarters, Service Component Headquarters, or Combatant Command
- 2+ years of experience with Joint Planning or as a Joint or Contingency Planner in Service Headquarters, Service Component, or Combatant Commands
- Experience with the planning tools, automation systems, software, and databases currently in use in the Joint Staff and Combatant Commands
- Experience with the DoD Joint Planning Process and Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
- Experience with nuclear operations, planning, and policy
- Ability to create reports, briefings, and documents, including at the Flag, General, or SES level and deliver them with client-ready quality
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20% of the time
- Ability to travel to CONUS for client support
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree
- Nuclear-Specific Training or Education
- Completion of Advanced Military Plans Training or Education
