Your role and responsibilities
Looking for a taste of working life in an international, future-focused corporate group? Then join us as an intern (m/f/d) and familiarise yourself with a suitable department for 3 to 6 months. You will be involved in large-scale projects and perform a defined set of duties independently. Use your internship to build a network and become familiar with our company. The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role: • developing a distributed network benchmark concept for industrial cloud/internet environments (characteristic communication patterns and network QoS requirements of industrial applications, methods to automatically derive conclusions on the capabilities of a given cloud/Internet environment, systematic capturing of results across a user base) • implement a benchmark software for the developed concept. • devise test scenarios and deployment support to have the software easily run by human testers on various cloud/ISP combinations. • collecting the test results across a user base to analyze the benchmark measurements and conclude feasibility cloud-internet automation based on findings.

Qualifications for the role
- Study in in computer science, communication engineering, or a related field
- Experience in software development, communication networks, and basic statistical analysis
- Optional: background in cloud technologies and/or container runtime environments
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Strong collaborative skills with an emphasis on open communication within the team
- Customer- and solution-oriented mindset, focused on delivering effective results
