JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently looking for Senior Business Controller to support our team in Iraq/Basra on a daily Basis 5/2
Iraq Nationals are encouraged to apply, Basra residency card is required

RESPONSIBILITIES

Basic Function and Scope

• Supervises and coordinates the work of personnel involved in cost analysis, quarterly performance review and work program and budget follow-up.

Tasks and Duties

• Supervises the activities of assigned personnel engaged in plan/cost control of business units
• Performs supervisory responsibility at the level established by management for the position.
• Prepares management reports and Key Point Indicators (KPI) etc. and submits to section head for review and processing. Includes selecting, reviewing and analyzing various forecasted operating plans and preparing KPIs accordingly.
• Builds-up and monitors the planning database for all operations. Ensures that all costs and activities are properly inputted into the databases.
• Administers the database and recommends to supervisor any significant changes to format data to be included and reports to be generated.
• Compiles in a monthly report budget variances and submits to supervisor for further action.
• Carries out other similar or related duties such as preparing ad hoc reports, preparing analysis on Work Programs and Budgets as required, etc.

Work Contacts:

• Frequent contacts with Section Heads and Managers to receive and give information related to planning and budget matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

• MBA /B.A. Degree in Business Administration, Business Administration, Planning or equivalent.
• 6 years' experience in planning and budget analysis (Flexible for exceptionally qualified).
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of computer software applications.
• Candidates must have a valid Basra Residency Card
