This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy. • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities. • Using your knowledge of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers. • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities. Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelors Degree in Control and Automation, Electronics and Communication, Chemical, Mechatronics Engineering or related.
  • 3-5 years of experience in CAPEX (instrumentation) sales.
  • Technical knowledge of instrumentation and analytical applications (flow, pressure, level and temperature) is needed.
  • Experience in industrial branding and channel partner development is desirable.
  • Instrumentation product management and experience with marketing strategies are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation and analytical applications (CEMS, SWAS, CAW, Gas Chromatography) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Advanced level of English is needed.
