Job Description
Columbus Quarry, LLC is hiring for a Ground Person for its granite quarry in Fortson, GA. This position will require you to communicate standards of excellence in the daily work tasks for the assigned team in order to meet safe production as outlined by Management. You will add support for operations at the Finish and Primary Plants, striving to achieve safety, compliance, and the profitability goals in the production of aggregate material. This position is responsible for effective operations and maintenance of the Finish/Primary plants. This will include production and the execution of proactive and reactive maintenance.

What you will do:

• Follow through with industrial safety procedures
• Conduct inspections on crusher/screen/chute/conveyor
• Produce daily reports of production results and maintenance needs
• Other duties as requested

Experience and Skills
What you need:

• Experience working with cone/jaw crushers required
• Experience working with aggregate screening processes required
• Ability to follow all Company and regulatory agency safety policies/procedures
• Ability to work well in a team and individually with limited supervision
