Job Title: Marketing Lead Generation Analyst
Reports To: Director, Marketing Communications
Location: Columbia, MD (hybrid)
Position Summary:
The Marketing lead generation analyst is responsible for analyzing all incoming leads from trade shows, digital campaigns, and other marketing-initiated activities. This role will determine lead score of each prospect, analyze leads based on score and needs, prepare the upload of all leads into Marketing/CRM software, and report on lead conversion. They will analyze close rates and report on lead generation by activity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Function as the lead generation expert to the Marketing team to ensure consistent operations, best practices, and governance
• Maintain accurate records of lead generation and status within the CRM systems
• Use data insights to refine and improve lead generation strategies
• Provide feedback and insights on lead quality to help improve future campaigns
• Analyze metrics and create regular reports on lead generation and conversion performance
• Review & analyze trade show generated leads for completeness and disposition
• Create monthly digital lead report ensuring ease of use for intended audience
• Development, segmentation, and maintenance of customer lead lists for use in digital marketing
• Scrub all marketing lead data to prepare for upload into Marketo/SFDC path
• Manage reporting and communication of lead to opportunity conversion in SFDC and engage with marketing and sales leadership on conversion rates by franchise
• Profile Salesforce leads won and lost to detect customer patterns/trends
• Track target account interaction with Ambu digital engagement team
• Develop baselines for lead generation activities for each product franchise/vertical
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field
• Salesforce.com or similar experience
• Proven experience, (2+ years) in lead generation, digital marketing or a similar role, with a proven track record of marketing lead generation analysis
• Data driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and make data backed decisions
• Knowledge of marketing automation and data analytics tools
• Able to stay current with industry trends and best practices for marketing lead generation
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable in presenting data and insights to understand lead generation performance
• Preference for experience in the medical device industry
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills accompanied by a strong business process improvement background
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on multiple projects
