Segment Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services within a designated segment, in alignment with the data center segment strategy. Every day, you will work to meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets, ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also use your expertise to identify and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned segment. The work model for this role is hybrid. This role contributes to the Data Center Segment within the ELSB-SP organization. The main stakeholders include end customers, channel partners such as system integrators, panel builders, installers, and consultants. Your key responsibilities will be: • Selling products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned segment. • Supporting sales teams across the entire electrification organization to ensure they are fully prepared for business in the assigned segment. • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB's complete product, system, and service offering, and aligning solutions accordingly. • Identifying and developing new market potentials, as well as creating market and customer strategies within the data center segment. • Enhancing ABB's visibility in the target segment by strengthening external communication, in coordination with the Marketing Communications team, and by participating in dedicated customer events and trade fairs.

Qualifications for the role
- You enjoy working in sales within the electrical sector of the fast-paced data center market.
- You have 5 years of experience in front-end sales within the electrical market or data center segment.
- You possess strong expertise in sales strategy, customer management, and stakeholder management.
- You are proficient in both spoken and written German and English.
- You are willing to travel within Germany, with occasional trips to other European countries.
- Having an established network in the data center segment is an advantage
