HBNY Plumbing & Heating LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced full- or part-time Plumber Inspector - Gas Piping Installation Tech and Inspector to join our esteemed team. Based in New York City, we offer a competitive hourly rate of $35 - $40/hour, along with great benefits including:

As a Plumber Inspector - Gas Piping Installation Tech, you will have the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time. Our standard work hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional weekend work if desired. You will enjoy the convenience of dispatching directly to job sites from your home, eliminating the need to report to a central location first. WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

Each day, you will depart from your home to various job sites across the five boroughs of NYC. Your responsibilities will include conducting Local Law 152 inspections and installing piping systems, ensuring all work complies with the stringent standards of the NYC Department of Buildings. You will also handle maintenance and repairs of existing systems, prioritizing safety and quality. Whether inspecting or installing, your role will be crucial in maintaining the safety and efficiency of NYC's infrastructure.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A PLUMBER INSPECTOR - GAS PIPING INSTALLATION TECH?

• Gas operator qualification to conduct Local Law 152 inspections
• Full gas work qualification for installing gas piping
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge in NYC DOB Gas Fuel Codes

A NYC Department of Buildings Full Gas Qualification is preferred but not required.
