Kent is hiring a Tool Crib Attendant (Warehouse) to support the Golden Pass LNG Project within our CCSU business unit, working closely alongside our client and with support of the wider Kent group to provide material management services for the project.

Your responsibilities:
  • Complies and enforces all HSE policies and procedures and participates in safety audits and walk-downs.
  • Coordinating with the Warehouse Supervisor to prepare and issue work permits as necessary.
  • Keep the storage facilities organized and clean.
  • Unpacking of shipments for receipt inspection and prepare packing for outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate with expediting the delivery and shipment of materials.
  • Provide receiving inspection for incoming materials.
  • Notify quality control when quality inspections are required.
  • Identifying and reporting of material overages, shortages, damage, or nonconforming materials.
  • Store and preserve materials as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Monitor inventory levels of tools and consumables.
  • Conduct scheduled "cycle" counts to assure the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Distribution of tools and consumables.
  • Pick and staging of materials for issuance in accordance with approved Pick Slip.
  • Operate forklift for material handling.
  • Maintain daily dock report for incoming shipments.
  • Distribution of material receiving documentation.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Your knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Knowledge of project safety policies and procedures.
  • Extensive experience with storage and preservation of project equipment and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and material management systems.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad knowledge of plant equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift 51 lbs.
Your Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least two (5) years of Warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift 51 lbs.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and forklift operator certification.
