Overview:
The Subsea Structures PSL (Product Service Line) Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, and analysis of subsea structures such as manifolds, templates, PLEMs, PLETs, and other related subsea hardware.
The role involves managing all aspects of subsea structural engineering from concept development to installation, ensuring that all deliverables meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

The Subsea Structures PSL (Product Service Line) Engineer is responsible for the engineering, design, and analysis of subsea structures such as manifolds, templates, PLEMs, PLETs, and other related subsea hardware.
The role involves managing all aspects of subsea structural engineering from concept development to installation, ensuring that all deliverables meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, analysis, and verification of subsea structures, including load-out, transportation, installation, and in-place assessments.
- Develop engineering specifications, calculations, drawings, and reports for subsea structural components.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV, ISO) during design and fabrication phases.
- Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools (e.g., ANSYS, SACS) to ensure the integrity and performance of subsea structures.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including fabrication, installation, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of design and execution.
- Review and approve technical documents, including design reports, material specifications, and installation procedures.
- Provide technical support during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea structures, including addressing technical queries from the site.
- Participate in risk assessments, HAZIDs, and technical review meetings to identify and mitigate project risks.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering.
Certifications / Specialization / IT Skills:
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SACS, ANSYS, STAAD.Pro).
- Familiarity with subsea standards and regulations (e.g., API, DNV, ISO).
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and analysis of subsea structures within the oil and gas industry.
Technical Knowledge:
- Subsea Structural Design and Analysis: Expertise in designing and analyzing subsea structures such as manifolds, PLEMs, PLETs, and templates. Knowledge of structural load assessments, fatigue analysis, and finite element analysis.
- Installation and Fabrication Knowledge: Experience with the installation, fabrication, and testing of subsea structures, including offshore construction techniques and challenges.
