If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a PFP Quality and Construction Coordinator , reporting directly to Quality & Construction Supervisor to join our team based in Ensenada, BC, Mexico.

About the Job

Performing complex inspections and works on difficult quality problems at a site - often in collaboration with an Engineer.

• Identifies the causes of rejects of complicated cases of non-conformances and follows them for corrective action
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of specifications, codes, standards and requirements for industrial PFP systems, including customer and vendor specifications
• Calibrates measuring instruments using standards and sets up instruments for inspection
• Interprets applicability of procedures, specifications codes, and standards to PFP coating systems
• Reviews coating method statements and procedures for applicability.
• Examines, inspects, and measures, possible chemical contamination, evaluates surface profiles, measures coating thickness for compliance to specifications
• Evaluates supplier coating reports for compliance to requirements
• Provides regular surveillance of coating applications and reports daily activity.
• Support subcontractors in terms of work preparation, performance monitoring, reporting of progress / resources.
• Executes the follow up of Construction activities, on a defined area/unit/plant or group of systems.
• Ensure appropriate coordination of his/her discipline with the other discipline supervisors.

About You

Qualifications: Bachelor or Technical Degree

Languages: Fluency English

Experience: Moderate with inspections and non-conformities
