SUMMARY OF ROLE
This role will play a decisive role in managing the flow of goods and services within the nuclear supply chain of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and efficient processing of orders from initiation to delivery, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing costs. You will collaborate closely with various partners including suppliers, project management, logistics, and internal teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Ensure key partner involvement in supplier management plan and improve financial KPI (Back-to-back T&C, Inventory, DPO, Cash-flow, LDs to sub-suppliers, Warranty, Margin Uplift/Savings, and productivity).

PURCHASE ORDER MANAGEMENT:
Place purchase orders on-time and ensure consistency with customer deadlines/production planning.

Optimize delivery dates (find alternative solutions with the supplier to optimize the dates, track it and monitor it).

Update the data contained in the ERP systems and guarantee the reliability of the data.

Negotiate the best purchasing conditions considering objectives, technical and commercial specifications.

Optimize costs (negotiate prices, select suppliers according to defined supplier panel with best cost/time/quality ratio, etc.).

CROSS FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT:
Process "workflows" assigned to purchase orders within the established deadline, while optimizing costs.

Manage emergencies by troubleshooting solutions to ensure machining or assembly can be done as per plan.

Communicate disputes and non-conformities with suppliers in collaboration with the quality function.

Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant partners to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.

Identify supplier bottlenecks (e.g. economic overload) and communicate them to the NBU procurement teams and Global Supply Chain as well.

Propose solutions to supplier issues encountered (in partnership with other departments of the company).

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT:
Establish a SOP process through supply chain and prepare a plan for communication with suppliers.

Ensure the reliability of physical flows according to the needs of the factory, in terms of quality, time and cost.

Communicate with suppliers to guarantee the best deadlines for the validation process after receipt of orders.

Apply the purchasing policy established in compliance with commercial compliance rules (Trade compliance).

Identify and propose continuous improvement projects.

Responsibility for the tasks entrusted to him, for their proper completion based on the applicable procedures and therefore for nuclear safety. They must also maintain an interrogative attitude and escalate all suspicions of fraud and counterfeiting to the appropriate hierarchical level.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Completed commercial education with experience in supply chain or completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or international purchasing.

Independent and team-oriented way of working, high motivation and commitment as well high degree of flexibility.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and ERP (Oracle and/or SAP)

Excellent written and spoken English (min. language level B2)

Willingness for European travel and Car driver's license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
