This position reports to
Product Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (both division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in your assigned area. You will also demonstrate your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of products and technologies, estimating costs, and completing final documentation. This position follows a hybrid work model. You will contribute to the sales support of the Actuator and Positioner product line within ABB Instrumentation. Based in Minden, you will provide support to ABB's global sales organization. Your main stakeholders will include the global ABB sales team and the Market Area Manager. You will be mainly accountable for: • Primary contact for all ABB sales organizations globally • Provide technical support for digital positioners, I/P converters, and electrical actuators • Offer application-related assistance • Support pricing inquiries • Assist with lead time information • Serve as the interface between ABB sales and factory departments such as order processing, logistics, and production • Key contact for inquiries regarding device applications across various industries • Support the factory sales department in pricing products for different regions, industries, and market channels • Responsible for managing pricing within internal tools • Drive process improvements to optimize communication interfaces and enhance daily operations

Qualifications for the role
- Strong technical knowledge
- Familiarity with Excel, SAP, and Microsoft tools is desirable
- Proficient in written and spoken German (negotiation level) and fluent in English
- Enthusiasm for technical topics, problem-solving, and web-based tools
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Perseverance, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
- Relevant degree in one of the following fields:
- Process Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Business Administration with a focus on technical subjects
