Airswift has been tasked by one of our Upstream clients to seek a Facility Technical Lead to join their team in Spring, TX for an initial 12-month contract, with possibility of extension !
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Be able to mechanically design a tank battery and SWD from scratch:
- Full process design and process modeling
- Material selection
- Pipe, valve, fitting selection meeting all relevant codes and standards
- Size and write bid requests for all rotating equipment
- Size and write bid requests for all skidded equipment and pressure vessels
- Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of equipment spacing for operability, safety, and cost
- Corrosion/erosional design
- Control system design
- Review and approve execution plans from project engineers
- Review and approve MOCs
- Lead HAZOPs
- Assist operations with troubleshooting and operability
- Write all major equipment RFQ's
- Create and redline P&IDs and Plot Plans
- Technical interface with vendors/suppliers
- Teach and train other engineers
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in facilities engineering within the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Proficient in designing tank batteries.
- Familiarity with the Permian Basin is preferred.
