In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Provide support of indirect tax related duties of National Instruments Corporation and the Hungarian Manufacturing site
• Preparing and filing certain EMEIA and APAC indirect tax returns as well as reconciling output/input VAT per general ledger to monthly/quarterly VAT returns at the time of VAT return preparation. Ensure any differences are dealt with
• Assist business/customers with daily tax issues
• Support the US GAAP (Group) audits and local statutory audits by providing timely responses to any audit questions and requests
• Prepare and document proper working papers to support the review of VAT returns and related filings

• Communicate with foreign colleagues and with other departments across the Globe

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
• To become familiar with Global transactional tax rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
• To contribute to the development of the systems and processes required to perform the company's transactional tax duties
• To communicate effectively with the Corporate Tax Department
• Advanced written and oral command of English

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Ability to learn new software packages (e.g. Oracle and Vertex)
• Experience with Oracle and or Vertex preferred but not required
