Embedded Product - Project Manager - Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Program Manager to lead the development and launch of innovative IoT hardware and software platform-based products for Energy Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving transformative solutions in the energy management domain.
What you will do
• Program Management: Define and execute the overall program strategy for IoT hardware and software platform-based products related to Energy Meters and energy management. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets using JIRA for agile scrum management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery. Foster collaboration and alignment among stakeholders using Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring that product designs and implementations align with technical requirements and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure timely and successful project outcomes. Develop contingency plans and implement risk mitigation strategies using JIRA's risk management features.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate project status, progress, and challenges to key stakeholders, including executive leadership, customers, and partners. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders using Confluence for documentation and updates.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Conduct product testing and validation activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product development processes and enhance product performance. Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost reductions using JIRA's analytics and reporting features.
Who you are and what you bring.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in the IoT, automotive, or energy industries. Scaled Agile Framework working experience and Release Train Engineer certification is an advantage.
• Strong technical background with a deep understanding of IoT technologies, hardware, software, and networking.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects using agile scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in JIRA, JAMA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
