HMI is part of Digital Factory organization, composed of 6 activities such as Eilwell, Motion Control, Automation Control, HMI, IoT Solution Software and Process control systems, contribute to provide the solutions and innovation for plant and machine in Industry Automation.

As a pioneer in HMI (human machine interface), our brand offers a wide range of product line-ups globally, small-sized operation panel convenient for setting up equipment and machines and high-performance models with integrated PLC functions and gateway functions for IT. We also produce IPC (industrial Personal Computer) that can handle edge functions such as higher expressive power and data analysis. Software is key enabler and differenciator to grow our business.

Our products contribute to a variety of fields such as factory and equipment control in consumer-packaged goods, Semiconductor, automotive, EV batteries, life science industries.

Job B rief:

We are seeking a motivated Firmware Engineer Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in setting up a firmware development environment, researching new technologies that will be necessary for HMI in the future, and developing POCs. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to enhance their skills and contribute to real-world projects.

Responsibility

- Researching technologies and methods to accomplish given tasks

- Creating design documents and other documentation

- Debugging and testing development and creation deliberables

- Solving problems encountered

Qualifications (Skills/ Personal Qualities):

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of embedded systems and firmware development.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.

- Familiarity with microsoft office application such as PPT, Word,Excel

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Those who can work at Osaka, Japan Office

- Duration : Minimum three months
