What will you do?
You will be in charge of follow-up of mission of a team of local or regional Field Service Engineers (FSE). You will collect all needed technical documents from design team, prepare or collect test procedures, follow-up of all logistic topics (secure site access process, visa, etc...). You will assign and monitor the FSE according to project and customer's priorities.
You will be responsible for communication between FSEs on site and the rest of Project Team and communication with general contractor/customer with close collaboration with Project Manager
You will ensure consistency in site activities across same type of sites in terms of methods, tools and processes

Extensive travels for EU passport holders
Location:
- Slovakia our offices in Bratislava, Žilina and Košice or your home country within EU + Possibility to work remotely
- Candidates are welcome from: Europe (EU passport holders) , preferrably: Slovakia, Romania, Croatia

Site work - extensive international travel (75%), mostly within Europe.
What will you do?

Key activities and responsibilities of the role:
Coordination of installation and commissioning activities for medium-sized projects:
- as requested by the project manager and under the supervision of his/her team leader, he/she coordinates the team of Field Service Engineers (internal or external service provider) and ensures the availability of all tools and test facilities required for the installation and commissioning activities to be performed at the customer's site. If possible, he/she contributes to solve technical problems encountered by technicians on site.
Site safety plans:
- ensures Safety plans are prepared and sent to the Site Works HSE Manager and to HSE GCP Operations Referent
Management of tools for site activities:
- is responsible for management of tools & test equipment on site. Identifies & anticipates any potential lack of tools on site.
Introduction of documents and tools for site activities:
- puts in place all needed tools/files to follow progress on site and defines the right in cooperation with Project Manager
- assesses or defines the Site organization needed for all activities
- lists all design & operational documents required by FSE to perform installation & commissioning activities and completing the document list follow up with support of Documentation Manager (test scripts, ITP, warranty letters, I&0 list, OPC file etc..)
Verification of resources compliance with country of destination rules:
- for all resources mobilized on site and depending on the type of activities carried out by Schneider Electric team, checking compliance with applicable local regulations (work permit, A1 certificate, Limosa, Dimona, VCA, etc.)
Definition and booking of required resources:
- depending on the progress of activities on site, and on the basis of the resource requirements necessary to carry out these activities, anticipates and plans by communicating these requirements and mobilization schedule to the Project Manager and his/her Team Leader.
Coordination of site activities:
- creates and tracks various documents, in close coordination with the Project Manager (like: the punch list tracking file for all IG or OG suppliers - manufacturers or integrators)
- ensures that all suppliers provide the latest version of the punch list before the start of the job site activities
- contacts with the factories (phone/email) for any missing part, problem, continous communication with the rest of project team (Project Manager, Technical Leader)
Review and Reporting:
- prepares and regularly reviews (weekly) records in event tracker file to follow-up the impact of works not performed as scheduled, supports the Project Manager
- presents variation order or claim file to customer or supplier any time needed
- ensures that activity reports (daily/weekly/monthly) are written and drawings updated and submitted to the Project Manager/Technical Leader for preparation of As built documents
- ensures that all FSEs update their time sheets, including signatures, sharing those on the digital storage area (weekly) in order to review by Project Manager at the end of month
- collects the monthly expenditures on site (travel, accommodation), collecting it in a synthetic excel table, per person
- reviews budgets with the Project Manager ( actual & forecast) for site hours activities
Follow-up on non-quality issues:
- is in charge of transfer and follow-up of non-quality issues raised during installation & commissioning activities (contingency process) to concerned suppliers or quality department in charge
C ommunication:
- attends customer meetings dedicated to organization & follow-up of on-site activities (HSE topics, co-activity, detailed planning for commissioning, interface with other parties for scope of supply or service etc..)
- attends all regular meetings of project team to share progress of site activities, escalates risks & opportunities on site, gets alignment with strategy and collects all necessary data
Return of experience:
- prepare REX / Lessons Learned file for the installation & commissioning part
Experience and skills we are looking for:
Education:
- Electrical technician with minimum Bachelor degree
Languages:
- Fluent communication in English language is mandatory
- Additional French or Spanish is welcome
Experience:
- Solid of experience in on-site electromechanical testing
- Experience in automation interfacing , protection system and/or overall electromechanical equipment will be a plus
- Good software tools literacy: MS Office (MS Project), Primavera basic knowledge is advantage, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Outlook, testing device
- Good knowledge of Medium voltage/Low voltage equipment, power stations and principles, the latest technologies and commissioning test principles
- Good knowledge of digital systems interfacing
- Knowledge of Data Center Application, electrical networks
