ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors
- Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs
- Create and maintain quality control documentation, insure related training and application in the sector.
- Manage derogations.
- Lead continuous improvement on its production lines.
- Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on his sector.
- Be a member of the Short Interval Management (SIM) of the production lines.
- Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution (PMP and PEP), contribute to process/control capability implementation.
- Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BS Engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing enviroment
- Drawing interpretation for GD&T as pero ASME Y14.5 or equvalent.
- Inspection sampling plans knowledge using C=0, ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (MIL-STD-105)
- Knowledge of Quality Tools using SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D, 5Why, etc.
- Kaikaku or 6-Sigma experience
- Knowledge of Quality Improvement methodologies and related statistical tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of process sheets and control plan, measuring instruments, statistical techniques, metrology, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Six sigma, and other SPC quality tools
- Experience in processes that include Plastic Molding, Metal Stamping, Electronic Components & Assembly, Cable Harness, Metallurgy, Electrical Power Transfer, Paint and Coatings, etc.
- ISO 9001:2015 knowledge. Internal Audit Certification Preferred.
- Manage large and difficult projects. Data of Recipients Only
- Bilingual, fluent communication in English/Spanish.
