Your role and responsibilities

This position reports to: Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities: As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in developing and implementing various marketing and communication projects that support ABB's business goals. Working closely with the Sales team and other functions, you will play an important role in executing campaigns and engaging with key stakeholders. This position is part-time, onsite in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and no relocation assistance is provided. Candidates must manage their own commuting arrangements. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting the execution of marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels, including social media, email marketing, and web content. - Assisting in the analysis of marketing data, using tools and methodologies to monitor the performance of campaigns and market trends. - Collaborating with the team on the implementation of MarCom strategies and improving the effectiveness of lead generation. - Contributing to content creation and ensuring that messaging aligns with ABB's branding guidelines. - Supporting social media management and digital marketing efforts, including posting and analyzing engagement metrics. - Assisting in coordination with customers and suppliers, particularly in the electrical/automation equipment market. - Managing project timelines and contributing to cross-functional collaboration within the sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications for the role

  • Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of a bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles, communication strategies, and experience with marketing tools for market analysis.
  • Familiarity with marketing communication channels, including traditional media, digital marketing, and social media.
  • Previous experience with marketing campaigns and social media management is welcomed.
  • Knowledge of customer and supplier markets, especially in the electrical/automation equipment sector, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and analytical skills.
  • Readiness for teamwork and collaboration with multiple functions.
