The procurement team is responsible for the strategic sourcing of all goods and services for the delivery of our wind energy solutions to our customers.
With a cross functional team of stakeholders, we develop supplier partnerships to enable sustainable growth and deliver value for our customers.
You will be part of a highly diverse and diverse team that is inspired by Vestas' Values (Passion, Collaboration, Accountability and Simplicity) and is excited about the prospects of renewable energy in the region and our purpose to combat climate change.
This newly created role will form part of a growing team working on strategic sourcing across a portfolio of wind projects, from early sales engagement to final project execution.
We are interested to hear from early-career professionals willing to learn and develop their commercial expertise in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities
• Develop the sourcing process for tactical and operational project requirements
• Assist with commercial contract negotiations and development of commercial strategies
• Build supply market intelligence and participate in supplier development activities
• Provide insights and track metrics on holistic supplier performance to assist with bid evaluation
• Develop collaborative data driven tools to enhance Vestas' supplier relationship effectiveness
Qualifications
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or finance
• Solid business insight and an enthusiasm for the energy industry
• Interest in developing a career within procurement
• Exposure to an ERP (SAP/Ariba) is desirable but not essential
Competencies
• Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work with various types of numerical data
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Shows initiative and creativity in finding solutions
• Creative and communicative approach
