In this position, you will be responsible for the intercompany activities for a selection of NOV Ledgers. You will be working to tight deadlines and will maintain appropriate financial controls in line with NOV and SOX requirements. During the month you will communicate with colleagues to arrange payments and resolve reconciliation differences. You will also support the SOX reporting, to the extent that the SOX controls relate to intercompany accounts and aging.

In this position, you will be responsible for the intercompany activities for a selection of NOV Ledgers. You will be working to tight deadlines and will maintain appropriate financial controls in line with NOV and SOX requirements. During the month you will communicate with colleagues to arrange payments and resolve reconciliation differences. You will also support the SOX reporting, to the extent that the SOX controls relate to intercompany accounts and aging.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of all intercompany accounting entries, for your respective ledgers, to ensure they are prepared accurately and in line with corporate deadlines
- Oversight of the intercompany close process ensuring all intercompany entries are booked and out of balances are resolved
- Oversight of intercompany purchase price variance analysis and markup, intercompany goods in transit, intercompany unvouched receipts, and expense allocation entries
- Oversight of IC recharges
- Initiates settlements or wire payments with intercompany partners in compliance with accounting policies and coordinating with local Treasury
- Assists with cash forecasting in relation to IC payments
- Responsible for Accounting Controls SOX compliance in the areas of balance sheet reconciliations and sub-ledger aging, to the extent they relate to intercompany accounts. Assists with the preparation of deliverables required for quarterly financial review meetings.
- Supports and assists during internal and external audits and other information requests
- Execution of various ad hoc financial analysis and tasks as and when required Ensure that internal checking and approvals procedures are adhered to
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree-qualified with Accounting or Finance related degree (essential)
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years (essential)
- Previous JDE experience (desirable)
SKILLS, TRAINING AND SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
- Computer Literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) (essential)
- ERP Systems knowledge (essential)
