Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond and provide I&E support during outages.
- Perform punch list activities as directed by Commissioning Manager
- Calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, re-working, modifying, and inspecting plant instrumentation and control components and systems.
- Support the daily operations of the business unit through the installation, programming, start-up and maintenance of automation and process control equipment.
- Work with plant documents, P&ID's, wiring diagrams, etc. for inspection and testing of plant equipment and systems.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology Groups.
- Responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Directly interface with clients and company management to report project status, risks and resolutions.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose various instrumentation and electrical problems.
- Candidate should be familiar with Offshore Oil & Gas Processing Facilities.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation required.
- Strong understanding of Control System Design and Project Execution.
- Experience with flow metering, instrumentation, valves, pumps, sampling systems, analyzers, flow computers, E&I wiring, and control panels.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, process, and controls experience.
- Two-year technical degree in instrumentation from technical institute or 5-year relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of startup and I&E commissioning work experience.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
