Pumps Engineer

Roles & Responsibility (includes, but no limited to):

• Ensures overall responsibility for pump maintenance and repairs and will be expected to travel to any location, including offshore and 3rd party facilities to oversee complex pump repairs.
• This position will report directly to COMPANY’s delegate and be based at COMPANY’s onshore facility
• Manages CONTRACTOR’s team and ensures work is performed in safely and as per COMPANY’s requirements.
• Makes sure that people, equipment are fully available at COMPANY’s request to ensure full work delivery. Verifies that all consumables, and other required means for SERVICES are delivered to AREA OF OPERATION for SERVICES execution and is renewed / replaced when needed.
• Reviews technical deviations and variations to approved guidelines, codes, standards and practices.
• Reports to COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE.
• Works in conjunction with the COMPANY’s Mechanical Supervisor in planning and execution of pumps maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitors work areas and progress on work scopes in planning and execution
• Reports work progress.
• Manages resources and requirements for execution.
• Organizes personnel and equipment to execute SERVICES.
• 12)Executes QA/QC / HSE compliance audits on site procedures and HSE Plans.
• Follows COMPANY’s HSSE standards and objectives.
• Complies with CONTRACTOR’s Industrial Relations procedures, fulfils functions stipulated by policy of COMPANY related to industrial safety, protection of labours and environmental safety as well as required by ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 international standards, Health and safety project management (IOSH)
• Performs root cause analysis investigation (5why, fish bone or any other methodology);
• Reviews and exercises optimization of maintenance strategy.

The profile is:

• 15 years experience as maintenance mechanical engineer on centrifugal pumps, with good knowledge of the product (pump, mechanical seals, bearings, instrumentation,..)
• Supervise maintenance activity
• Experience in QA/QC management
• Knowledge of main standard in oil and gas (as a minimum API 610 standard)
• Provide solutions for possible failure during pumps operation (Root Cause Analysis)
• Provide in cooperation with us technical reports and procedures for maintenance, repair, overhauling of pumps
• If possible graduation in mechanical engineering
• All in English language

Locations Atyrau (Caspian Sea area)

Rotation: Employment is 28 – 28 days, 7 days per week, 12 hours per day

Duration: 3 years
