SENIOR HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ENGINEER

Education:

Bachelor of Engineering in either Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering. The Master of Engineering in respective field will be a competitive edge.

Certifications:

Should be either CMIOSH (Chartered Member) or GradIOSH (Graduate Member) having NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

Experience:

  • Should have minimum 12-15 years of experience in HSE field with expertise in development and implementation of health & Safety system management projects & studies.
  • Consultant should have a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the HSE principles, standards, regulations, and best practices that apply to the Kahramaa's operations.
  • Should be familiar with the relevant HSE management system frameworks and models i.e. ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
  • Should be able to develop HSE plans and objectives, implement HSE controls and measures, conduct HSE audits and inspections, analyze HSE data and trends, and solve HSE problems and issues.
  • Consultant should have the skills to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively with the organization's stakeholders, such as management, staff, customers, suppliers, regulators, and auditors etc.
  • Should be able to listen, understand, and empathize with the organization's needs and expectations, provide clear and constructive feedback and advice,facilitate, and manage change and improvement, and deliver quality and timely results.
  • Should have experience in developing building code concepts and equivalencies, conducting building plan reviews, field reviews, and/or fire safety systems design.
  • Consultant engineer shall have carried out / prepared detailed studies, technical specification & documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
