JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Burkburnett TX Fiber Glass Systems manufacturing location is seeking a motivated individual to join our Global Family for an immediate job opportunity in Maintenance.

This position is typically scheduled to work Day Shift (Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm) and may be asked to cover Evening Shift (from 3:00pm to 11:30pm) or Night Shift (Sunday through Thursday for 11:00pm to 7:30am).

This candidate will maintain plant equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation through repair, fabrication and installation of new equipment while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
• Work on assigned projects
• Fabricate and install new equipment
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Utilize safe work habits
• Wear appropriate PPE
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have background in mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools.
• 2-5 years of general industrial maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Ability to read precision gauges.
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read drawings, instructions, or repair and assembly operations.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, and Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
