Your role and responsibilities
Job Profile Summary: Develops an effective (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintains it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Defines, plans, leads, and ensures the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitors sales performance, proactively, ensuring the development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when needed. Leads, develops, and coaches the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance. The work model for the role is: #LiHybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Create, plan and implement the sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the local business division, as well as budget and efficiency targets. • Supports the Business Line Sales organizations to ensure the achievement of sales volume and product mix targets. • Promotes and enables collaboration in the division, across business lines, divisions, business areas, and teams to maximize results for ABB. • Define key sales targets and establish appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. Proactively anticipate and identify shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action. Drive top line growth. • Identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global/local basis, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources. • Define, execute, and ensure the achievement of the established objectives and results (eg. order intake, margin, price, efficiency, etc.). • Identifies and manages potential risks related to contract agreements across customers/channels. • Develop, implement and review sales processes and tools, and all related training and development activities. • Reviews organizational effectiveness periodically, coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Builds effective, competent, and high-performing teams.

Qualifications for the role
- A degree, ideally Engineering or comparable with training in Business Administration and Management.
- 10+ years' experience preferable with Robotics / Automation background, 5+ years' experience in Sales Leadership.
- Excellent leadership and people development skills, relevant and successful change management experience
- Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation.
- Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic, and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs and managing ambiguity.
- Results-oriented execution mindset.
